Privacy Notice

1. Who is responsible

LabSift is a prototype in private testing, operated by Nicole Pyra as an individual, based in Zürich, Switzerland. Privacy questions may be sent through the contact form.

2. Patient reports are processed in your browser

Laboratory reports are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to or stored on any server. Original reports, extracted values, edits and selected results remain in browser memory while you work. They are not intentionally saved in cookies or browser storage, and are removed from the active session when you clear the documents, reload or close the workspace.

Extracted results remain connected to their original source for review. Clinicians must verify all values against the original report before using them in a patient record. Copied results enter your device’s clipboard and should be handled according to your organisation’s confidentiality rules.

3. Website information

To deliver and protect the website, Netlify may process ordinary connection information such as IP address, time, requested page, browser type and security events. LabSift does not intentionally add report contents or filenames to these requests, and does not use advertising or analytics.

4. Contact messages

When you submit the contact form, the name, email address, inquiry type, optional organisation and message you provide are sent to and stored by Netlify so the operator can receive and respond to the inquiry and filter spam. Do not submit laboratory reports or patient-identifying or clinical information through the contact form. Contact-form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, and are deleted periodically thereafter.

5. Storage and providers

Hosting and contact-form provider: Netlify. LabSift is a prototype in active development; hosting configuration and any additional providers may change as the service evolves. This notice will be updated to reflect the final setup before any wider availability.

6. Your choices and rights

You decide which reports to add, which extracted results to review and which verified results to copy. Depending on applicable law, you may request information about personal data processed by the operator, ask for correction or deletion, object to processing or contact the relevant data-protection authority. Send requests through the contact form.

This notice may be updated as the service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
